We are seeking an experienced IT Strategy Consulting Director with a strong background in IT consulting, ERP platforms (e.g. SAP), finance-related enterprise systems, and global delivery models.
This role will lead large-scale digital and technology transformation initiatives for financial services organizations, contribute to revenue growth, strengthen senior client relationships, and help expand financial services consulting capabilities. The position blends business development, transformation leadership, and executive advisory responsibilities, acting as a trusted partner to C-level stakeholders across banking, insurance, capital markets, and fintech sectors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Revenue Management

Drive revenue growth within financial services accounts

Build and maintain senior executive relationships (CIO, CTO, COO, CDO)

Lead sales activities including proposals, negotiations, and deal closure

Develop strategic account plans and long-term client partnerships

Take ownership of portfolio performance and financial targets
2. Financial Services Technology & Digital Strategy

Define and lead IT and digital transformation strategies for financial institutions

Design enterprise architecture, modernization roadmaps, and platform strategies

Advise on cloud adoption, system modernization, data platforms, and AI enablement
-
Develop tailored technology solutions for banking, insurance, and capital markets
3. Program Delivery & Governance

Oversee complex, large-scale transformation programs

Ensure delivery quality, risk control, and financial discipline

Establish governance models and transformation operating frameworks

Drive consistent delivery standards across onshore and offshore teams
4. Practice Growth & Capability Building

Build and scale financial services consulting capabilities

Develop industry-focused offerings, frameworks, and accelerators

Mentor senior consultants and develop future leaders

Support recruitment and retention of high-performing consulting talent
5. Executive Advisory & Stakeholder Engagement

Serve as a trusted advisor to executive and board-level stakeholders

Facilitate executive workshops and strategic planning sessions

Align technology initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements

Represent the consulting practice in industry discussions and client engagements
Requirements
Required
-
15+ years of experience in IT consulting, digital transformation, or financial services technology leadership

Proven experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives in banking, insurance, or capital markets

Strong business development and client relationship management track record

Excellent executive communication and presentation skills

In-depth knowledge of financial services technology landscapes and regulatory environments

Background with leading consulting firms (e.g. Big Four, global consulting, or strategy firms)

Expertise in cloud transformation, core system modernization, data platforms, or AI-driven solutions

Experience managing international or cross-border projects

MBA or advanced degree in Business, Technology, or a related field
