L&D Manager (In-charge of Operations)

    Job Overview

    • Develop training plans for the Operations (OPs) division.
    • Ensure all training programs for staff and managers are implemented fully and on
    • schedule.
    • Monitor and assess employee competencies.
    • Update and develop training content based on organizational phases and learner needs.
    • Analyze and propose strategies for professional and leadership capability development
    • for OPs managers.
    • Attract and retain talent through career path development and employee training.
    • Train, supervise, and manage the training team.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Develop Training Plans for OPs

    • Collaborate with Regional Managers/HRBPs to identify and analyze training needs for technical and behavioral competencies.
    • Build annual/quarterly training plans based on OPs needs and business objectives.
    • Propose ad-hoc training plans to address urgent needs.

    2. Ensure Effective and Timely Training Delivery

    • Work with internal/external trainers to assess relevance and effectiveness of training content.
    • Organize training sessions according to approved annual/quarterly plans or urgent priorities.
    • Directly deliver behavioral competency training for management teams.
    • Manage training logistics within the approved budget (venue, meals, materials, etc.).
    • Prepare training reports as required (SLA).
    • Source and evaluate training providers or service vendors to optimize cost and training performance.

    3. Monitor and Evaluate Employee Competencies

    • Guide learners and managers in applying knowledge acquired from training and evaluate its effectiveness.
    • Track and assess learning outcomes within the specified timeline.
    • Report training application results to direct managers on time.
    • Update training history monthly.
    • Analyze post-training evaluation data and propose follow-up actions with area/regional managers.

    4. Update and Develop Training Programs

    • Review and redesign OPs training programs annually based on competency frameworks.
    • Develop e-learning content for OPs staff.
    • Regularly update training methodologies, testing, and competency assessment tools.

    5. Talent Attraction & Retention

    • Develop and implement training roadmaps for each OPs position.
    • Standardize and systemize the OPs training curriculum.
    • Participate in Talent Review sessions for the OPs division.
    • Implement Individual Development Plans (IDPs) effectively for OPs talents.

    6. Other Duties

    • Train and supervise team members to enhance functional performance.
    • Perform other tasks assigned by the Department Head.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in training management and capability development
    • strategy (Manager level).
    • Good English communication skills.
    • Experience in training and organizational capability development.
    • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and coaching skills.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
