Key Responsibilities:
Application Development (40%)
- Implement and maintain business logic and data access layers using technologies such as T-SQL, C#, ASP.NET. Continuously enhance and optimize proprietary applications.
Architecture & Design (20%)
- Define system architecture and design standards. Create scalable implementation plans for developers.
Mentorship (20%)
- Coach and mentor junior developers and ensure best practices in coding and design patterns.
Troubleshooting & Support (10%)
- Investigate and resolve production-level issues raised by support teams and clients.
Agile Participation (10%)
- Collaborate with teams in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 7+ years of experience in web application development.
Technical Stack & Tools
- Languages & Frameworks: .NET Core, C#, JavaScript, Blazor (nice to have)
- Game/Interactive Tech: Unity 3D, WebGL
- API Integration: REST/SOAP APIs, WCF, Web APIs
- Databases: SQL Server, MySQL
- UI Development: Strong skills with Unity 3D & WebGL
- Testing & QA: Familiarity with Postman, Swagger, NUnit/XUnit
- DevOps Tools: Bitbucket Pipelines, Unity Cloud Build, AWS, Azure
- Version Control: Git, Git LFS
- Project Management: Jira, Confluence, Tempo, Trello
- 3D Tools: Blender for asset creation/editing
- Collaboration: Experience working with remote teams across time zones
Design & Architecture
- Proficiency in design patterns such as dependency injection.
- Ability to translate business requirements into detailed technical specs.
Leadership & Project Management
- Proven ability to lead development projects from initiation through delivery.
- Strong communication and mentoring capabilities.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Office-based setup with standard equipment.
- Minimal physical exertion; occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs).
- No travel required.
