Legal Specialist

    Responsibilities

    1.    Legal Consultancy

    • Address legal issues and provide advice on daily operational matters.
    • Develop templates, forms, contracts, commitments, agreements, and related documents.
    • Review and provide recommendations on contracts and other legal documents to minimize risks for the company.
    • Collaborate with the Accounting and Logistics teams in coordinating with consulting firms, tax authorities, customs offices, banks, or other governmental entities as needed.
    • Assist the Accounting team in managing actions related to overdue clients.
    • Support the HR/GA team with tasks related to work permits, labor contracts, and expatriate leasing agreements.

    2. Internal Control

    • Draft, review, and update the company’s internal regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
    • Manage risks within your area of responsibility to safeguard the company’s reputation and mitigate the impact of negative media coverage or potential crises.
    • Monitor changes in Vietnam’s legal environment and promptly communicate significant updates to relevant stakeholders.

    3. Management and Administration

    • Establish and oversee the execution of objectives and tasks for the Legal Department.
    • Deliver legal training to other employees within the company.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by company managers.

    Job Requirements

    • Strong understanding of corporate, labor, tax, and customs laws and regulations relevant to the role.
    • Proficient in English communication; additional languages such as Chinese or Japanese are a plus.
    • Excellent interpersonal and logical thinking skills.
    • Clear career goals and development plans as a lawyer.
    • Strong management abilities, including multitasking, teamwork, proactivity, and meeting deadlines.
    • Proficiency in soft skills such as professional communication with various stakeholders, decision-making, and problem-solving.
    • Demonstrated commitment, responsibility, and adherence to processes, policies, and service standards.
    • A proactive attitude with leadership potential.

    Other Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, with preference given to candidates holding a Lawyer Practicing Certificate.
    • Competitive salary is negotiable based on experience and capabilities.
