Responsibilities
1. Legal Consultancy
- Address legal issues and provide advice on daily operational matters.
- Develop templates, forms, contracts, commitments, agreements, and related documents.
- Review and provide recommendations on contracts and other legal documents to minimize risks for the company.
- Collaborate with the Accounting and Logistics teams in coordinating with consulting firms, tax authorities, customs offices, banks, or other governmental entities as needed.
- Assist the Accounting team in managing actions related to overdue clients.
- Support the HR/GA team with tasks related to work permits, labor contracts, and expatriate leasing agreements.
2. Internal Control
- Draft, review, and update the company’s internal regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Manage risks within your area of responsibility to safeguard the company’s reputation and mitigate the impact of negative media coverage or potential crises.
- Monitor changes in Vietnam’s legal environment and promptly communicate significant updates to relevant stakeholders.
3. Management and Administration
- Establish and oversee the execution of objectives and tasks for the Legal Department.
- Deliver legal training to other employees within the company.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by company managers.
Job Requirements
- Strong understanding of corporate, labor, tax, and customs laws and regulations relevant to the role.
- Proficient in English communication; additional languages such as Chinese or Japanese are a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and logical thinking skills.
- Clear career goals and development plans as a lawyer.
- Strong management abilities, including multitasking, teamwork, proactivity, and meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in soft skills such as professional communication with various stakeholders, decision-making, and problem-solving.
- Demonstrated commitment, responsibility, and adherence to processes, policies, and service standards.
- A proactive attitude with leadership potential.
Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, with preference given to candidates holding a Lawyer Practicing Certificate.
