Manufacturing Manager

    Job Purpose:

    To oversee and ensure the efficient execution of the factory’s manufacturing plan in compliance with all Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People standards, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

    Key Responsibilities:
    1. Production Management

    • Plan, direct, and coordinate manpower and equipment resources to meet production targets and delivery timelines.
    • Monitor and control production costs within the approved budget.
    • Ensure all manufacturing activities meet required standards of quality, productivity, safety, and environmental compliance.

    2. Cross-functional Collaboration

    • Communicate promptly with other departments (SCM, TQM, HR, ESH) regarding operational matters such as quality issues, equipment downtime, material shortages, injuries or near misses, and schedule adjustments.
    • Foster effective teamwork across functions to achieve seamless production performance.

    3. People Leadership & Development

    • Build and sustain a positive work environment that encourages employee engagement and pride in performance.
    • Develop and motivate a technically competent supervisory team and production workforce.
    • Identify skill gaps and implement targeted training and development programs.
    • Conduct performance evaluations to set clear expectations and drive accountability.

    4. Process Improvement & Safety

    • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process flow, efficiency, cost management, and product quality.
    • Support the Safety team in maintaining a safe workplace, ensuring compliance with environmental and occupational health regulations.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
    • Strong technical understanding of metal fabrication, welding, pre-treatment, and powder coating processes.
    • Proven leadership experience managing teams of 50+ employees.
    • Demonstrated success in cost control, process optimization, and team development.
    • Experience with LEAN manufacturing or other efficiency improvement methodologies.
    • High energy, strong analytical thinking, and result-oriented mindset.
    • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration across all levels.

    Language & Technical Skills:

    • Languages: Proficiency in English and Vietnamese required; Chinese is an advantage.
    • Computer Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer operations.
