Overview
Our Client is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative team, driving the creation of cutting-edge technology products in a fast-moving development landscape. This role demands a solid foundation in mechanical engineering principles, paired with strong leadership capabilities to navigate both technical hurdles and team coordination effectively.
- Ideal candidates will bring experience from high-output production settings, with a deep understanding of manufacturing workflows, supply chain intricacies, and factory operations. Proficiency in tolerance analysis is essential, and familiarity with CAD design tools is a significant advantage. The ability to interpret technical specifications and test protocols is a core requirement.
- Exceptional communication skills are key, enabling seamless collaboration with diverse engineering teams across multiple regions. Willingness to travel occasionally to support production and design efforts is expected.
Responsibilitites
- Oversee and align internal and external mechanical production tasks.
- Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot and refine advanced hardware solutions, meeting tight cost and timeline targets.
- Partner with colleagues to define system requirements, assessing functionality, budget, and risk factors.
- Ensure design integrity aligns with production processes.
- Coordinate mechanical testing phases with key suppliers.
- Plan and adapt work strategies in a dynamic, evolving environment.
- Contribute to the development of internal and external technical specifications.
- Create mechanical designs for innovative technology initiatives.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering within high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Expertise in mechanical tolerance analysis and experimental design techniques.
- Familiarity with rapid prototyping techniques and materials.
- Proficiency in a widely-used CAD software (experience with ProE CREO and Windchill is a bonus).
- Ability to work autonomously with strong initiative.
- Readiness for travel as needed.
