National Sales Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    Sales Strategy & Market Expansion

    • Develop and implement the sales strategy for Vietnam’s Industrial Automation business to achieve sustainable growth targets.
    • Accelerate the expansion of the company’s own-brand automation solutions across key manufacturing sectors.
    • Identify emerging opportunities and prioritize high-growth industries through targeted market development strategies.
    • Drive adoption of smart manufacturing, automation, and energy-efficient technologies that address customer business needs.

    Solution-Oriented Business Development

    • Champion the shift from product-focused selling to value-driven solution sales.
    • Create industry-specific strategies tailored to different manufacturing verticals.
    • Deliver integrated automation, digitalization, and energy management solutions.
    • Understand customer operational challenges and translate them into scalable, business-focused solutions.

    Channel & Partner Management

    • Develop and execute an effective partner ecosystem strategy, including distributors, system integrators, OEMs, and machine builders.
    • Establish partner governance processes covering recruitment, enablement, performance management, and engagement.
    • Foster strong collaboration between direct sales teams and channel partners to optimize market coverage and business results.
    • Lead joint business planning, co-selling initiatives, and solution development with strategic partners.

    Customer Relationship & Market Leadership

    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and senior decision-makers.
    • Position the organization as a trusted advisor in Industry 4.0, digital transformation, and sustainable manufacturing.
    • Lead executive-level customer engagements, workshops, demonstrations, and innovation programs.

    Team Leadership & Organizational Development

    • Lead and develop the Industrial Automation team, including Sales, Field Application Engineers (FAE), Sales Operations, and Solution/Application specialists.
    • Cultivate a high-performance culture focused on customer success, innovation, and solution excellence.
    • Drive talent development through coaching, mentoring, succession planning, and performance management.

    Strategic Alliances & Ecosystem Development

    • Expand relationships with system integrators, OEMs, and technology partners.
    • Establish long-term partnerships that strengthen solution offerings and market competitiveness.
    • Drive scalable, partner-led growth initiatives to accelerate business expansion.

    Regional & Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with regional and global stakeholders to align business priorities and product strategies.
    • Support collaboration across Southeast Asia to leverage regional opportunities and best practices.
    • Coordinate across multiple business units to deliver comprehensive end-to-end customer solutions.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 10 years of experience within industrial automation, manufacturing technologies, industrial equipment, or related solution sales environments.
    • At least 5 years of leadership experience managing commercial and/or technical teams.
    • Demonstrated expertise in:

               • Industrial and factory automation technologies

               • Smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives

               • Manufacturing digital transformation

               • Energy management, efficiency, and sustainable industrial solutions

    • Experience within Vietnam and/or Southeast Asian manufacturing markets is highly desirable.

    Languages

    • Fluent English communication skills are required.
    • Vietnamese language capability is preferred.
    • Mandarin proficiency is considered a significant advantage.
