Operations Controller Manager

    Main Purpose

    • Gather and analyze financial information on P&L Factory.
    • Maintain the material master records and inventory balance in SAP.
    • Accurate and timely costing of products for both home trade and intercompany price.
    • Develop analysis of economic indicators such as inflation, and exchange rates and their impact on the COGs/P&L.
    • Prepare the financial reports for Group & provide the relevant departments with accurate, timely and effective accounting management information.
    • Driving the budget preparation process, consolidating inputs and reporting.
    • Be a trusted finance business partner with Operations team to achieve company’s Operations and financial KPIs as well as act as a change agent to build a high performing Finance team.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Take overall responsibility over the costing process and methodology applied, ensuring it is in-line with Groups Accounting and Controlling Manual.
    • Share and communicate Standard cost prices on a timely basis.
    • Maintain material master records for RM, PM and FG, including the coordination of stock takes, updating of standard cost prices and analysis of purchase price variances.
    • Analyze Company’s overhead structure on the Operations side and suggest methods to reduce costs
    • Take the lead and ensure OTIF monthly financial reporting and closing.
    • Plan the latest estimated forecasts and annual budget for the Company’s Operations
    • Plan and prepare the forecasts of balance sheet including working capital.
    • Co-operate with external auditors in preparing field work request to feed the group reporting package for Business Unit and Group at the end of financial year.
    • Gather, follow up and report to Department Operation Managers about actual expenses arising monthly.
    • Provide accurate and appropriate financial information to relevant departments.
    • Provide quality insights to aid decision making by innovating and continuously improving/productivity/ cost efficiency reporting and analysis of Operations results.
    • Initiate and implement internal financial controls in the Operations area.
    • Provide financial support to global procurement and local procurement function.
    • Contribute to the S&OP process through the production results, generating meaningful financial forecasts, analysis and insight.
    • Ensure compliance with the financial policies in the CAPEX processes and support with relevant business case preparation and analyses.
    • Conduct finance training sessions for finance / non-finance colleagues.
    • Take part or lead finance related projects.
    • Prepare analyses and presentations for the Company’s stakeholders (Group functions, Board, 
    • Shareholder) in cooperation with and based on inputs of the Supplier Director and General Manager
    • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Graduate Finance/ Economic University, major in Finance/ Accounting
    • At least 5 yrs experience at the same controller position in foreign manufacturing companies.
    • Knowledge of management control mechanism, standard cost process, Manufacturing core processes.
    • Communication (both oral & written English & Vietnamese)
    • Excellent use of Excel, familiar with SAP system or any other Finance/ Accounting system
