PMC Director

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Production Planning & Scheduling

    • Develop weekly/monthly production schedules based on customer orders and production capacity.

    • Balance equipment utilization, lead times, and workload across processes (pre-treatment, dyeing, printing, finishing).

    • Release daily production plans, ensure smooth process flows, and coordinate closely with workshops.

    2. Material Planning & Control

    • Prepare and manage Material Requirement Plans (MRP), coordinating procurement and warehouse receipt of fabrics, dyes, auxiliaries, and packaging.

    • Oversee inventory to optimize turnover and prevent overstocking or obsolescence.

    • Track critical material deliveries to avoid shortages or production disruptions.

    3. Order Fulfillment & Customer Coordination

    • Monitor end-to-end order execution and coordinate with sales teams to assess delivery risks.

    • Manage urgent orders, schedule changes, and rework planning.

    • Lead production review meetings and provide timely delivery updates to sales.

    4. Capacity & Sales Alignment

    • Conduct monthly capacity assessments and align resources with production needs.

    • Lead production-sales coordination meetings, integrating forecasts with capacity planning.

    • Plan manpower and equipment allocation to handle seasonal fluctuations.

    5. Process & System Development

    • Build and enhance PMC procedures and SOPs (e.g., scheduling, material requests, plan changes).

    • Drive ERP/MES adoption for visualized planning and digital progress tracking.

    • Promote data-driven management to improve planning accuracy and responsiveness.

    6. Team Leadership & Development

    • Lead, train, and mentor PMC staff to strengthen planning accuracy and coordination.

    • Implement performance systems to improve execution and accountability.

    • Foster cross-functional collaboration to break down departmental silos.

    7. Supply Chain & Procurement Coordination

    • Coordinate resources across procurement, production, warehousing, and logistics.

    • Ensure effective inventory control and alignment of procurement with production plans.

    • Oversee supplier management, particularly for fabrics, dyes, auxiliaries, and packaging.

    • Maintain strong communication and negotiation with suppliers and internal teams.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Textile Engineering, Production Management, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.

    • 5+ years of PMC experience in textile dyeing/finishing or garment manufacturing, with 3+ years in a managerial role.

    • Strong knowledge of woven fabric processes and production capacity management at each stage of dyeing/printing.

    • Skilled in scheduling, MRP, material/inventory control, and data analysis.

    • Proficient with ERP/MES systems and Excel; experience in visualized planning is an advantage.

    • Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and stress management skills.
