Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversee the daily operations of the pre-growth process to fulfill customer needs.
- Collaborate with Engineers, Operators, and Technicians to maximize productivity and
- yield.
- Organise the daily activities of the pre-growth operation team, ensuring tasks are
- executed as directed.
- Apply basic engineering principles to operate growth processes for the production of
- solar-grade silicon single crystals.
- Monitor key parameters, addressing any factors that may affect process control, yield,
- and throughput.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify failures in existing processes.
- Use data analysis to offer engineering solutions that aid in quality assurance, customer
- complaint evaluations, process management, and troubleshooting issues
Basic Qualifications
- Possessing a solid track record of operational excellence demonstrated over a span of 10 to 15 years.
- Exhibits a strong capacity for collaboration with fellow engineers.
- Exceptional skills in both verbal and written communication.
- Highly organized, self-driven, adaptable, and capable of prioritizing tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- It is desirable to have a solid comprehension of materials like quartz crucible, polysilicon, and graphite, which are utilized in the growth of Silicon crystals for semi-conductor and solar applications. Proficiency in data analysis using engineering statistical methods is also preferred. The individual should be a collaborative team member, capable of working with crystal puller operators and engineers from various departments. Familiarity with or the capacity to grasp operational excellence principles and tools, such as 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma, is advantageous.
