Pre-Sale (Sr./Technical) Specialist

    I. Job Purpose

    Architecting and creating solutions for Vietnam operations in the commercial water heating sector. By utilizing the broad variety of the company’s products, exhibiting its integration capabilities, and developing best-of-breed solutions, you may achieve maximum sales growth and the development of new accounts. Building the brand in the commercial water heating market in Vietnam is the responsibility of the role.

    Ho Chi Minh City/Hanoi is the location of the position. He or she is hierarchically subordinate to the General Manager of Sales & Trading MKT. 

    II. Job Description

    • The pre-sales specialist works in conjunction with resources from sales, service, engineering, and technical support to make sure that proposed transactions include technical solutions that effectively satisfy customer demands and are appropriately backed by key customer technical decision-makers.
    • Develops relationships with Developers, Architects, and Consultants to specify the company’s products and grow the Project and Commercial business.
    • Works deals assigned to the sales team supported, emphasizing efforts on maximizing the overall impact of sales growth and profitability.
    • Assists the commercial and project sales organization by getting the "technical close" in difficult solutions; proactively identifies the technical solution needed to fulfill the needs of the customer, evaluates the needs that have been addressed and those that have not, and makes recommendations for solutions that maximize value for both the client and the company. 
    • Obtains feedback from all required solution stakeholders inside the client company. adapts approaches as required to ensure the right assistance;
    • Works closely with internal resources in sales, sales support, and service to match solution design with clients' business needs;
    • Obtains technical personnel commitments from the client necessary to guarantee a deal's "technical close";
    • Develops water heating systems projects with the relevant technical reports, system layout & size, and any other documents necessary by local legislation;
    • Offers career development and coaching to team member sales associates to improve their product knowledge, technical acumen, and sales skills;
    • Actively seeks out new business development opportunities within the customer companies;
    • Works with sales to make sure these opportunities are effectively covered;
    • Keeps an eye on customer support for technical solutions put forth during the sales process and alerts the sales and account teams to potential risks of deal closure;
    • Offers coaching and supervision to subordinates.

    III. Requirements

    1. General Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

    • An engineering degree, particularly with expertise in energy-efficient water heating systems.
    • Proven problem-solving skills and the capacity to find solutions for clients (consultative sales strategy);
    • Strong written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

    2. Key Success Factors

    • Must have 3–5 years of experience in the water heating industry or related fields; experience with electric storage water heaters, solar systems, heat pumps, and related technologies preferred in commercial business (B2B);
    • Must be results-oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
    • Must have knowledge of the local technical legislation;
    • Must have knowledge of technical software design (Ex. Autocad, Adobe Illustrator, or Solar PV Calcu)

    3. Preferred Personal Characteristics 

    • Already has a customer of real estate and construction professionals, as well as architects and developers.
