Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and development of enterprise-scale Big Data platforms and multi-domain data processing systems.
- Define technology stacks, processing frameworks, and architectural standards aligned with long-term business and technical strategies.
- Establish best practices for data pipelines, metadata governance, monitoring, logging, and data organization across projects.
- Optimize storage and compute efficiency through partitioning, indexing, caching, and incremental processing strategies.
- Provide technical mentorship, conduct architecture and code reviews, and support engineers in solving complex technical challenges.
- Work closely with Security and Data Governance teams to ensure compliance with data quality, lineage, audit, and security requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Big Data engineering, including 3 to 4 years in senior or lead engineering positions.
- Hands-on experience building and operating data platforms on cloud native or bare-metal infrastructure.
- Strong expertise in designing scalable and reusable data models for enterprise applications.
- Experience developing high-performance real-time data processing pipelines and distributed systems.
- Proven background leading or mentoring teams in large-scale digital transformation or data-driven initiatives.
- Solid understanding of enterprise data governance, data quality, and data management standards.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Graduates from globally recognized universities or research-intensive institutions are preferred.
- Relevant international certifications in Big Data, distributed systems, or cloud technologies are an advantage.
