KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build data-intensive services capable of handling large datasets
- Design and optimize databases considering both functionality and performance
- Write clear, well-structured code that's easy to understand and modify
- Continuously improve code quality through refactoring practices
- Proactively monitor application health, identify performance bottlenecks, and resolve system issues
- Share knowledge and mentor junior and mid-level developers
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven track record in Backend Development (5+ years)
- Mastery of Golang programming language
- Strong grasp of SOLID principles, design patterns, and best practices
- In-depth knowledge of relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL) with expertise in performance optimization
- Experience building complex systems involving API integrations
- Ability to monitor and optimize application performance
- Experience with automated testing (unit and end-to-end)
- Solid understanding of web security principles
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Docker containers
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Leadership experience in managing development projects
NICE TO HAVE:
- Knowledge of GraphQL data query language
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform
- Prior experience with Amazon Web Services
- Understanding of production environment operations
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks (TypeScript, ReactJS/VueJS)
- Experience mentoring junior and mid-level developers
