Location: Hanoi, Vietnam
Job responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and manage contracts for all projects.
- Assess costs for new projects.
- Assist other departments with their procurement activities and ensure they follow the Group’s policies.
- Support Risk Management by improving contracts and procurement practices for projects.
- Provide contract management support to project companies for short periods.
- Ensure project procurement follows the Group’s policies.
- Review and monitor project procurement strategy.
- Supervise procurement and contract management for quantity surveying (QS) in projects.
- Independently review the contract procurement process, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and key procurement packages for projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Building or Quantity Surveying or equivalent, with at least 12 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in preparing tenders for building, civil engineering, infrastructure, interior design, and commercial projects.
- Familiarity with contracts, laws, and local legal requirements, and knowledge of pricing in Vietnam is preferred.
- Professional qualification from recognized Quantity Surveying bodies would be beneficial.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and work overseas when required.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English.
