Role Overview
The Product Research & Development Expert plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s product roadmap through data-driven research and strategic insights. This position serves as the analytical and creative force behind product innovation — transforming market intelligence, user data, and emerging trends into actionable strategies that guide product development and long-term growth.
The ideal candidate demonstrates a blend of strategic foresight, analytical depth, and strong communication skills to bridge insights with execution across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Research & Insight Development

Conduct in-depth market and consumer research to uncover emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and innovation opportunities.

Identify unmet user needs and gaps for new products or features.

Benchmark leading global digital platforms and Super Apps to inform product direction.

Use data analytics and forecasting to anticipate market movements and guide decision-making.
2. Product Strategy & Concept Development

Define product concepts, positioning, and differentiation strategies.

Collaborate with Product Managers to translate insights into concrete development plans and initiatives.

Build product hypotheses, prototypes, and business cases for validation.

Evaluate potential new product lines or ecosystem extensions aligned with organizational vision.
3. Collaboration & Communication

Partner with Product Management, Design, and Engineering teams to align strategy and execution.

Present research findings and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Support the Product team in defining roadmap priorities, success metrics, and performance indicators.
4. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

Stay updated on global trends in technology, UX, and product innovation.

Promote a culture of experimentation and data-informed decision-making.

Identify new technologies or partnerships that could enhance product development and innovation capacity.
Qualifications
Required:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.

Minimum 10 years of experience in product strategy, market research, or innovation management.

Strong understanding of digital ecosystems and platform-based business models.

Proven ability to convert insights into strategic product initiatives.

Excellent analytical, conceptual, and communication skills.
-
Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Technology teams.

Fluent in English; exposure to international or regional markets is an advantage.
Preferred:

Experience in Super Apps, Loyalty/Promotion, Onboarding/KYC, Communication, or Search platforms.

Knowledge of user research methodologies, behavioral analytics, and market modeling.
