Responsibilities
- Production Oversight: Manage day-to-day production activities for stationary cell lines, ensuring adherence to schedules and output targets.
- Process Optimization: Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 methodologies for efficiency and cost reduction.
- Performance Monitoring: Track production KPIs, analyze data, and drive corrective actions for operational excellence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Technology, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams for smooth operations.
- Resource Management: Ensure availability of manpower, materials, and equipment for uninterrupted production.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce EHS standards and regulatory requirements across all production activities.
- Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing production team.
- Capacity Expansion: Support commissioning and ramp-up of new stationary cell lines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 15–18 years in production management within battery cell manufacturing or advanced materials
- Proven experience in large-scale Lithium-Ion Battery (LIB) production (stationary applications).
- Production Planning & Control, Process Optimization & Lean Manufacturing, Team
- Leadership & Development, Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis, EHS Compliance and Risk Management
- Good English (reading and listening) and strong cross-functional coordination skills
