Role’s purpose:
Overall management of finishing operations in delivering required sales volume demand whilst achieving continuous improvement and meeting set KPI targets in productivity, quality, & service.
Responsibilities:
• Meet agreed KPIs covering product quality and appearance, service, productivity, efficiency, cost, and waste
• Provide a safe working environment
• Ensure that Company assets are operated correctly, effectively and safely
• Provide a level of service which satisfies both internal and external customers
• Ensure good industrial relations at all levels within the Finishing Dept
• Implement Coats Best Practices and Global SOPs
• Improve the performance of the team, individually and collectively, via leadership, guidance, development and training
Requirement and Experience:
• University degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
• Minimum of 7 years in a labor-intensive manufacturing environment
• Minimum of 3 years at management level
• Clear understanding and working knowledge of Industrial Engineering practices and tools
• Fluency in English and Vietnamese, written and spoken
• Demonstrable capacity/ability for leadership, organization people management, and effective communication.
• Relentless focus on target achievement and continuous improvement.
• Ability and willingness to use initiative and to accept responsibility/accountability
