Responsibilities
- Analyze production data and industry trends to anticipate demand and capacity needs.
- Propose resource allocation plans and process improvements for multiple product lines.
- Monitor production performance and adjust strategies to meet service level agreements.
- Plan and distribute workforce requirements across shifts and sites to optimize productivity.
- Oversee utilization of machines, editing stations, and software licenses.
- Recommend investments or reallocation of equipment to match operational demands.
- Source, assess, and manage vendors throughout the entire engagement cycle.
- Negotiate with vendors and ensure adherence to quality, delivery, and pricing standards.
- Build and sustain long-term vendor partnerships.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four planners to achieve performance targets.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Production teams to align planning with business goals and customer expectations.
- Track and analyze key planning metrics, including utilization, cost efficiency, and vendor performance, to drive improvements.
- Identify and implement workflow enhancements and digital transformation initiatives.
- Work with the data team to design and implement dashboards and analytical tools to support informed decision-making.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in production planning or operations, including team leadership.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Proficiency in planning software, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Highly analytical and data-driven, with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP, PMP) are advantageous.
- Experience in digital production, BPO operations, media editing, or other high-volume, fast-paced environments is preferred.
