Roles & Responsibilities:
- Battery cell design: Plan, organize, direct and follow up on project-related activities, development platform building.
- Incorporate Development advancements and evolving customer needs into product design changes.
- Experience with design and development of prismatic cells and big dimension cylindrical cells for Solid State Li-ion batteries.
- Experience working with internal and external partners to achieve goals on aggressive timelines.
- Maintain product documentation according to company standards.
- Ensure delivery of the project activities.
- Ability to work on 3-5 projects at a given time.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- At least 10 years of industrial experience in battery cell development.
- Depth knowledge of battery chemistry and mechanical parts design and processing equipment and demonstrated project success across chemical, electrical, and mechanical engineering disciplines.
- Proficiency with next generation batteries such as All Solid State is a plus.
- Ability to work under high pressure with tight deadlines.
