Overview:
We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to oversee the quality assurance strategy, testing frameworks, and team leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, a deep understanding of QA methodologies, and the ability to drive innovation in testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Strategy & Leadership
- Define and implement QA strategies, policies, and best practices across multiple products.
- Lead and mentor QA team members, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, Product, DevOps) to integrate QA early in the development lifecycle.
2. Test Planning & Architecture
- Design and optimize test frameworks for functional, non-functional (performance, security, scalability), and automation testing.
- Assess system architecture for testability, identify risks, and ensure stability before production release.
- Drive the adoption of innovative testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance efficiency.
3. Test Automation & Tooling
- Develop and maintain automated testing solutions (UI, API, performance, security).
- Build and enhance testing platforms to support CI/CD pipelines.
- Promote shift-left testing practices to accelerate delivery without compromising quality.

Job Requirements:
- Lead end-to-end system integration testing, ensuring seamless product deployment.
- Validate production readiness and oversee go-live quality checks.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide root-cause analysis.
- Research and implement emerging testing trends (AI/ML in testing, chaos engineering, etc.).
- Establish metrics to measure test coverage, defect density, and QA effectiveness.
- Advocate for quality standards across the organization.
- Experience: 5+ years in QA, with 2+ years in a leadership role; background in internet or software development industries.
- Language: Fluent in English.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in test automation (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.), API testing (Postman, REST Assured), and performance tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Proficient in programming (Java, Python, or JavaScript) and version control (Git/SVN). o Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Methodologies: Strong knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and SDLC; experience with risk-based testing.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Strong communication to align stakeholders on QA priorities.
- Ownership mindset with a focus on team collaboration.
- Preferred: Domain knowledge in fintech or large-scale distributed systems.
