Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections at supplier factories, including PPAP (Production Part
- Approval Process) and PSI (Pre-Shipment Inspection).
- Evaluate and approve shipments based on inspection results and quality compliance.
- Identify and document inspection failures; work with suppliers to establish and
- implement Corrective Action Plans (CAPs).
- Prepare factories for audits by reviewing quality systems, documentation, and
- processes.
- Develop and follow up on supplier audit CAPs to ensure long-term quality
- improvements.
- Report any anomalies, non-conformances, or risks directly to the Senior QA/QC
- Manager.
- Assess and document the quality control setup of each factory for each product under
- production.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and CAP progress.
- Promote continuous improvement and alignment with company quality standards
- across the supply base.
Basic Qualifications
- Technical diploma/degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field
- (preferred). Good communication in English
- Experience in quality control/assurance within a manufacturing or supplier
- management environment.
- Quality control experience in the lighting industry is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of PPAP, PSI, and audit processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to implement and follow up on CAPs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare clear reports.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel frequently to supplier factories
