Responsibilities and Duties:
- Quality Strategy & System Governance
-
Establish, implement, and continuously improve the factory-wide Quality Management System (QMS), including sample, materials, cutting, sewing, finishing, lab, and subcontracted processes.

Ensure company-wide adherence to quality standards, compliance frameworks, and customer requirements.

Lead the alignment of quality policies across three factories to ensure consistency, standardization, and operational efficiency.
- Customer & Buyer Management

Represent the company in all quality-related communications with buyers, HQ, and external audit bodies.

Negotiate and resolve quality issues, claims, and shipment decisions with buyers in cases of potential risk.

Ensure customers receive quality products and proactively address any quality concerns from pre-production through delivery.
- Production Quality Planning & Execution

Approve and govern quality plans for pre-production, bulk production, pilot runs, inline QC, final inspections, and outbound shipment.

Ensure timely execution of all quality control procedures to support right-first-time outcomes and on-time delivery.

Approve internal final inspections (AQL 1.0 / 1.5 / 2.5 / 4.0 and S4 standards) and ensure readiness for third-party inspections.
- Leadership & Organizational Development

Lead, mentor, and manage QA Managers and Quality teams across three factories.

Establish competency standards, talent development plans, coaching programs, and performance KPIs for the QA/QC organization.
- Build a culture of accountability, problem solving, and continuous improvement.
- Quality Performance, Analytics & Risk Management

Oversee quality data analytics and reporting channels: inline results, defect trends, rejection ratio, FPY/RFT, rework cost, claim rates.

Drive corrective and preventive action (CAPA) programs, root cause elimination, and standardization of best practices.

Monitor risk areas and implement countermeasures to reduce defects, production delays, and shipment risks.
- Supplier, Subcontractor & Outsourced Work

Govern quality performance of subcontractors (printing, embroidery, lamination, etc.) to ensure compliance with customer standards.

Approve strategies for subcontractor quality control, escalation handling, re-inspection, and qualification.
- Compliance & Audit

Ensure readiness for all buyer audits, third-party inspections, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Lead internal audit programs across all factories and ensure effective closing of findings.
- Manage product quality responsibility to end consumers, including complaints, recalls (if any), and claim resolutions.
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or above in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Textile & Garments, or related disciplines.

Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in quality management in garment/apparel manufacturing, with at least 4–5 years at senior managerial or factory-wide leadership level.

Strong experience working with international buyers and compliance frameworks.

Proven ability to manage multi-factory operations, large quality teams, and complex supply chains.

Strong analytical mindset, decision-making skills, negotiation ability, and leadership presence.

Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
