Role Overview:
• We are looking for a motivated and experienced Regional Business Development Manager/Director to help shape our growth strategy in the APAC region. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to identify and develop opportunities for high-value projects (≥ $100 million USD) while building meaningful partnerships with stakeholders across the region.
• This is a unique opportunity for a driven professional to play a leading role in shaping the future of energy and infrastructure in APAC.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Development
• Explore new markets and identify opportunities for large-scale projects in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
• Develop and execute business development strategies that align with company objectives and growth aspirations.
Relationship Building and Stakeholder Engagement
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders, including government bodies and private organizations.
• Act as a trusted advisor, offering tailored solutions that align with client and partner needs.
High-Value Deal Management
• Lead the end-to-end process of identifying, negotiating, and securing projects with values exceeding $100 million USD.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive project proposals and ensure successful execution.
Market Expertise and Insight
• Stay informed about industry trends, policy changes, and emerging opportunities in the APAC region.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support decision-making and regional strategy.
Leadership and Collaboration
• Work closely with internal teams across engineering, finance, and operations to align business development efforts with project execution.
• Support the professional growth of team members by sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.
Experience:
• 10+ years of business development experience, preferably in the energy or infrastructure sectors.
• Proven success in managing and closing large-scale projects (≥ $100 million USD) including Infrastructure projects - Industrial Park and Energy projects - District cooling, hydrogen, Bio-fuel plant
• A deep understanding of the APAC market and its regulatory, financial, and business landscape.
Skills:
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Financial acumen with the ability to analyze and structure complex deals.
• Cultural adaptability and experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
