Position Purpose:
Lead the Asia product design team to develop a competitive, immersive travel product range across multiple customer segments (FIT, GIT, Educational, In-Destination, etc.). Ensure strategic product development, brand differentiation, and operational consistency, aligned with business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development & Design
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and regional leaders to shape product strategies.
- Design compelling itineraries based on market demand and trends.
- Implement processes to accelerate time-to-market and ensure product quality and consistency.
Margin Improvement
- Drive initiatives to improve profitability through efficient product-to-market processes.
- Analyze data to inform development and optimize cost control.
- Coordinate closely with contracting and commercial teams for integrated execution.
Leadership Competencies:
- Lead by example, provide timely feedback, and uphold company philosophies.
- Communicate transparently and effectively across departments and cultures.
- Coach and mentor team members, identify future leaders, and develop succession plans.
- Set clear goals, drive performance, and maintain discipline in execution.
- Foster a supportive and empowered team environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years in travel product development, 3+ years in leadership roles.
- Strong commercial acumen, industry knowledge, and regional destination expertise.
- Proven success in cross-regional team leadership and process standardization
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility in working hours and willingness to travel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with internal systems is a plus.
