Reliability Engineer

    Overview:
    A fast-paced, global technology company is seeking a Reliability Engineer with a strong background in reliability testing and failure analysis within the consumer electronics industry. This role focuses on working with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure product quality and long-term reliability, especially in the electromechanical domain.
    You’ll be expected to apply critical thinking and robust problem-solving skills to complex manufacturing environments, support new product development, and drive improvements throughout the product lifecycle.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Monitor field performance and collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to investigate failures and implement corrective actions.
    • Provide guidance to partners during release-to-manufacture and qualification phases.
    • Support the setup and monitoring of ongoing reliability tests during mass production.
    • Coordinate with global reliability teams to define and document qualification plans for new product introductions.
    • Lead root cause investigations for reliability issues and ensure timely resolution.
    • Participate in vendor selection and qualification for key components in line with reliability standards.
    • Leverage technical knowledge of electronic and electromechanical components to assess risk and define Critical-to-Quality metrics.

    Qualifications:

    • 7+ years in hardware engineering, with at least 3 years specializing in reliability.
    • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Engineering, Physics, Statistics, or similar.
    • Proven experience in working with suppliers on lab setup and execution of reliability qualification plans.
    • Familiarity with ASTM/IEEE standards and mechanical/environmental testing methods.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
    • Strong collaboration skills across technical teams and stakeholders.
