1. Responsibilities
- Carries out field service tasks at the customer's location, such as installing and commissioning new equipment, performing maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical advice
- Give customers instruction on how to use and maintain the machines
- Manage current customers and find new customers in a certain market category
- Reach the management-set sales goals for new machines, replacement parts, and service contracts in the designated territory
- Keep an eye on customer and rival activities, and compile general market data and customer feedback for headquarters
- Create quotes, paperwork, and, if needed, assume leadership roles for direct project-related customers
- Build and build solid relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service
- Ensure adherence to the Code of Conduct
- Choose and implement local discounts in consultation with your supervisor and in accordance with international rules
- Act in order to engage with the customer, obtain knowledge from experts, and maintain a CRM database with high-quality data
- Act, determine whether a service product is relevant, and advise clients accordingly. Act on carrying out field service activities. Act on carrying out helpdesk tasks and technical customer consultation
2. Requirements
- Education: Mechanical or electrical engineering degree; preferred: sales or business administration degree
- >5 years of experience working in an international industrial setting, ideally with knowledge of wire processing machines
- Strong preference is given to candidates with additional industrial sales experience
- Solid knowledge of machinery, automation, and software
knowledge and approach (Business knowledge, languages, MS-Office, etc.)
- Appreciated are intermediate working knowledge of the Salesforce CRM package and the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- Appreciated is knowledge of lean office techniques
Other prerequisite conditions (Personal related competence as social competence, management competence, strategic competence, willingness to travel, etc.)
- Presentation capabilities, communication abilities, travel readiness, a flair for a technologically advanced setting, advanced level English, and appreciation for other languages
