Responsibilities and Duties:
- Architect and implement the division's comprehensive business strategy for the global agricultural commodity markets.
- Establish and hold full accountability for the division's P&L, including all revenue targets, margin goals, and performance KPIs.
- Conduct rigorous analysis of global market fundamentals, price movements, and supply/demand dynamics to identify and capitalize on emerging commercial opportunities.
- Direct the entire physical trading lifecycle, from origination and supplier negotiation through to pricing, risk management, and final settlement.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance trading division, fostering a culture of accountability and commercial excellence.
- Cultivate and manage a high-level network of key international stakeholders, including suppliers, institutional buyers, and industry partners.
- Ensure seamless cross-functional collaboration with logistics, finance, and operations teams to optimize deal profitability and execution efficiency.
- Guarantee strict adherence to all international trade regulations, compliance standards, and contract specifications.
- Serve as a primary ambassador for the company at key international industry conferences and trade events.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, with preference for Business, International Trade, or Agriculture. An MBA is highly desirable.
- 7+ years in agri-commodity trading, including at least 3 years in a leadership role managing a team and P&L.
- Deep knowledge of commodity markets, pricing, and risk management, with excellent negotiation skills and strong commercial judgment.
- An active international network of suppliers and buyers.
- Professional fluency in English.
