Sales Manager (Freight Forwarding)

    Main tasks:

    1. Build the plans and strategies of Sales

    • Develop and implement short-term and long-term strategies and plans for the Sales department to ensure the company's revenue's targets.
    • Synthesize, analyze, evaluate data, collect information from the market, competition and set sales goals to propose suitable business strategies for each period.

    2. Search, maintain and expand relationships with customers

    • Directly searching, expanding and increasing new sources of customers who need to use logistics service
    • Attend conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build a strong pipeline of business opportunities. Collaborate with marketing department to promote company's brand name and approach news customer's list
    • Manage and maintain the customer base; constantly enhance and improve customers' satisfaction.
    • Combine with CS Dept. to feedback & solve customers' problems.

    3. Internal management

    • Support, participate in the recruitment process of Sales staff
    • Develop training programs, direct training to ensure the quality of Sales staff, evaluate employee performance periodically.
    • Build and develop Sales process. Implement periodical evaluation of Sales processes and continuously improve innovation.
    • Develop goals and KPIs for the Sales Department. Monitor sales performance using data analysis, track sales metrics, and provide regular reports to senior management to identify market trends, sales opportunities, and potential challenges.
    • Supervise the activities of Sales team and ensure motivation to achieve sales targets
    • Propose to reward/reprimand/discipline Sales staff based on case-by-case.
    • Plan the Sales team's activities & organize the implementation. Report periodically as required by BOD.

    Qualifications:

    • Graduated from universities majoring in Foreign Trade, Logistics, economics, business administration or other related majors.
    • Good knowledge of logistics or companies specializing in forwarders.
    • Good knowledge of transportation laws and regulations.
    • Good knowledge and experience of forwarding (sea freight, air freight), import-export, transportation, customs.

    Requirements:

    • At least 3 years of experience or more in the position of Sales leader/manager in freight forwarding; overseas work experience is preferred.
    • Priority is given to strong experience of North America and Europe routes both sea/air.
    • Have a certain customer base;
    • Familiar with various shipping companies;
    • Fluent in English, Chinese is preferred.
    • Good MS Office.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Innovative & creativity mindset to achieve better efficiency.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Good analyze and synthesis skills.
    • Good negotiation and persuasion skills.
    • Ability to work independently and under high pressure.
