Key Responsibilities
1. Product Development & Delivery Roadmap
Product Development
-
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to define product objectives and expected business value.

Identify opportunities arising from new technologies, data capabilities, and market trends to generate product ideas (e.g. analytics platforms, machine learning models, dashboards, AI-enabled tools, metadata solutions).

Define and manage product requirements across the entire lifecycle, including customer segmentation, user journey and pain-point analysis, solution design, development, testing, launch, experience evaluation, and iterative improvements.
Delivery Roadmap

Lead end-to-end delivery, ensuring alignment with business, technical, security, and governance requirements.

Define solution epics, user stories, and clear business acceptance criteria in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Oversee product launch activities and contribute to go-to-market planning to maximize adoption and impact.
2. Project & Stakeholder Management
Project Management
-
Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies throughout the product development lifecycle.
-
Lead release planning and set clear expectations for delivery timelines and functionality.

Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, refinements, and retrospectives.

Identify and resolve delivery challenges, people issues, and project blockers; conduct post-implementation reviews and root-cause analysis to improve team effectiveness.

Promote strong collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and issues across related initiatives, ensuring clear communication, mitigation plans, and regular progress updates.
Stakeholder Management

Serve as the main point of contact between product teams, stakeholders, and end users.
-
Engage stakeholders during product visioning and concept development; gather feedback, address concerns, and provide regular progress updates.

Ensure alignment between product strategy and senior leadership priorities to deliver solutions that fit the overall business portfolio.
3. People & Team Leadership
Team Management

Recruit, onboard, and retain high-performing talent.
-
Communicate individual and team objectives, KPIs, expectations, and performance outcomes clearly.

Act as a role model for professional standards and organizational values.
-
Manage team performance and provide regular, constructive feedback in line with performance management cycles.
Cross-Team Leadership
-
Coach and mentor other Data Product Owners in areas such as product ideation, requirements definition, stakeholder communication, solution development, and obstacle resolution.

Take accountability for business efficiency and financial outcomes of assigned data products or solution domains delivered by multiple teams.

Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Certification in Agile Product Management or Product Ownership is preferred.
-
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in financial services, consulting, or data-driven product environments, including at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.

Strong professional English communication skills.
-
Solid understanding of digital financial services and emerging industry innovations.
-
Proven experience in business analysis and delivery of digital solutions (e.g. banking, payments, lending, or enterprise platforms).
-
Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Databricks), analytics and BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau), and/or AI/ML solutions is an advantage.

Demonstrated ability to define minimum viable products (MVPs) and minimum marketable features (MMFs) to guide product roadmaps.
-
Practical experience using Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Experience leading large-scale initiatives in an Agile environment is preferred.
