Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage BIM models and drawings for all project phases, including Tender, Construction, and As-Built.
- Develop and update engineering drawings such as site plans, layouts, sections, and details in collaboration with the engineering and architectural teams.
- Produce 3D BIM models and ensure constructability.
- Coordinate with other disciplines and subcontractors to produce combined services drawings and resolve clashes.
- Conduct clash detection using Autodesk Navisworks to ensure models are fully coordinated.
- Mentor junior CAD designers and oversee 3D model development.
- Assist in computing material take-offs from the 3D BIM model when needed.
Job Requirements:
- Qualification: Degree, Diploma, or Institute of Technical Education certificate in a related engineering field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience for a Senior level position.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience for Lead and Senior Lead levels.
- Prior experience in modeling for Architectural, Civil, Structural, Electrical, Process, and Mechanical systems.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Proficient in both 2D and 3D environments.
- High proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ACC, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D and PID or equivalent is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
