Key Responsibilities
Security Architecture & Engineering
- Design and implement end-to-end security capabilities for embedded platforms, including secure boot, trusted execution environments, secure storage, secure firmware update mechanisms, and secure communication.
Threat Modeling & Security Reviews
- Conduct threat modeling and architecture reviews for connected platforms such as infotainment systems, ADAS, IoT, or other smart devices.
Security Implementation & System Hardening
- Implement and enhance security hardening for Linux, Android, or QNX-based systems. Security Testing & Validation
- Execute security testing and validation activities, including static and dynamic analysis, fuzz testing, and penetration testing
Security Process & Compliance
- Define and maintain security requirements and security engineering processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cryptography, or a related technical discipline.
- 7 to 15 years of professional experience, including 2 to 5 years of experience in embedded software, system-level development, or cybersecurity engineering. Backgrounds in automotive systems, IoT, mobile devices, or consumer electronics are highly relevant.
- Hands-on experience working with Linux and/or Android platforms, especially within BSP, middleware, system services, or other low-level system components.
- Strong understanding of core cybersecurity concepts such as cryptography, secure communication protocols, secure coding practices, and security testing methodologies.
- Practical experience implementing or supporting embedded security mechanisms such as secure boot, system trust frameworks, secure storage, OTA or secure update systems, and secure communication between devices or system components.
