Responsibilities and Duties:
- Managed the entire process for local and overseas projects, from creating the work plan and schedule to developing the final design according to company brand rules.
- Oversaw all parts of the project, including planning, construction, and managing subcontractors, to ensure all renovation and design work was done correctly for a smooth handover.
- Created and gave detailed design presentations that included space plans, layouts, 3D drawings, and material samples to show what the final project would look like.
- Acted as the main contact person between internal design and project teams, and external partners like consultants (M&E, lighting, structural), contractors, and mall management.
- Built and kept good working relationships with all teams and partners to help finish projects on time.
- Handled the technical and financial sides of projects, including preparing detailed cost lists (Bills of Quantity), tracking expenses, and monitoring the schedule.
- Checked on project progress regularly and gave quarterly reports to management.
- Led final inspections with landlords and local authorities to get all necessary approvals for a successful handover, including final testing.
- Provided support for store maintenance and other tasks as needed, ensuring work was finished on time and for the agreed-upon price.
Job Requirements:
- A Diploma, Degree, or Master's in Architecture or Interior Design preferred.
- Fluency in English or Mandarin is compulsory.
- At least 2 years of work experience, preferably in project management within the retail sector.
- Proven experience working with contractors and mall operators.
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe software.
- Strong ability to read design drawings, manage project documentation, and handle budgeting with accuracy.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Willingness to travel both within the country and overseas when necessary.
