Senior Sales Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned sales territory through cold outreach, referrals from existing clients, online research, professional networks, industry events, and other lead generation channels.
    • Prepare clear and compelling proposals or quotations for potential clients, working closely with internal teams such as commercial and risk underwriters as well as senior management.
    • Produce regular sales forecasts to support effective planning and pipeline management.
    • Proactively nurture and convert sales prospects to ensure the achievement of annual sales targets.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Marketing Action Plan in collaboration with the Regional or Country Commercial and Marketing Director.
    • Lead commercial negotiations with prospects and intermediaries through to the signing of contractual agreements.
    • Monitor client acquisition and attrition to identify market trends, competitor activities, and emerging sales opportunities, and share insights with relevant stakeholders.
    • Maintain strong collaboration with internal departments to uncover and maximize sales opportunities.
    • Build, strengthen, and leverage relationships with intermediaries to expand the pipeline of potential clients.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Banking, or a related discipline.
    • 5 to 7 years of proven experience in B2B sales, either through direct sales or channel sales roles.
    • Previous experience in trade credit insurance or within financial services, particularly in international or multicultural corporate environments, is an advantage.
    • Solid understanding of market dynamics and the economic landscape, with the ability to assess how these factors influence business opportunities.
    • Experience in developing go to market strategies and executing them effectively.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, combined with good analytical capabilities.
    • Proficiency in written and spoken English to communicate with stakeholders across Asia Pacific.
    • Prior experience in team leadership or motivating others is considered a plus.
