Responsibilities
Strategy and Deal Development
- Drive strategy for renewable power and transition investments in Southeast Asia.
- Analyze industries and markets to identify potential deals.
- Develop investment ideas, including strategies for creating business value.
- Actively build a network to expand deal opportunities.
Transaction Execution
- Lead all stages of dealmaking, from finding potential investments to closing agreements.
- Oversee thorough due diligence, including financial modeling, to ensure sound investment decisions.
- Negotiate deals, prepare documentation, and collaborate with internal teams and external advisors.
- Present investment proposals persuasively to senior stakeholders.
Asset Management
- Constantly seek ways to improve portfolio companies and the overall business.
- Guide portfolio company management teams in executing their strategic plans.
- Track the financial and operational results of investments.
Leadership
- Build and develop a high-performing investment team (hiring, coaching, providing feedback).
- Be an outstanding representative and advocate for Brookfield.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years in investment roles. Direct experience in Southeast Asian infrastructure, renewable power, or related fields is a major plus.
- Demonstrated success in leading deal teams through the entire transaction process.
- Advanced financial modeling and due diligence expertise.
- Outstanding negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Exceptional judgment, leadership, and the ability to inspire teams.
- Organized and meticulous, thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication for presenting to executives and driving projects.
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated, independent worker with a strategic mindset and problem-solving abilities.
