JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Oversee the crucial Data Center operations, facilities engineering, Data Center buildouts, and scaling for the APAC region.
2. Provide recommendations for, record, and monitor policies and practices that adhere to industry best practices and satisfy necessary SLAs.
3. Organize outside vendors, guarantee resource supply and delivery, and accommodate corporate expansion.
4. Taking charge of vendor management and outsourcing for colocation data center service providers to ensure that performance SLAs are met or exceeded.
5. Understanding of the 24-hour-a-day onsite support process and ongoing operational process, procedure, technique, and tool improvement.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Have a business, engineering, or computer science bachelor's degree
2. Operation of big global data center sites for five or more years
3. Practical understanding of the mechanical, electrical, and control systems used in data centers
4. In-depth understanding of information technology infrastructure domains such IT service delivery best practices and IT server platforms, storage server platforms, server components, network devices, and technologies.
5. An extremely motivated and self-reliant person. extensive knowledge of critical thinking and issue analysis.
6. Data center construction process and capacity planning knowledge
7. The ability to travel as needed (sometimes 25% to 50%+)
8. Must be proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.
