    Job Description

    Product & Supply Strategy

    • Develop product portfolio, sourcing and purchasing strategies aligned with the Company’s business objectives.
    • Conduct market research, monitor consumer trends, competitors and customer needs to identify opportunities for new products and categories.
    • Develop monthly, quarterly and annual product development and supply plans to achieve revenue, profitability and growth targets.
    • Advise senior management on category development, product portfolio structure and strategic partnerships with manufacturers.

    Product Development & Portfolio Management

    • Lead the identification, evaluation and selection of new products, manufacturers and suppliers locally and internationally.
    • Assess product feasibility based on market demand, competitive advantages, profitability, growth potential and associated risks.
    • Manage products throughout their lifecycle and regularly evaluate commercial performance to recommend improvements, replacement or discontinuation.
    • Work closely with Marketing and Sales to develop category strategies and optimize product mix across distribution channels.

    Sourcing & Procurement Management

    • Build and develop a strategic supplier network across domestic and international markets.
    • Establish reliable sourcing channels that ensure product quality, competitive pricing and timely delivery.
    • Lead negotiations on pricing, commercial terms, contracts, supplier support and other business benefits.
    • Oversee the end-to-end import process, including purchasing, production follow-up, transportation and delivery to warehouses.

    Cost & Supply Chain Optimization

    • Develop strategies to optimize product costs and purchasing-related expenses.
    • Monitor fluctuations in raw material prices, exchange rates, logistics costs and other factors impacting product costs.
    • Identify opportunities to improve margins through purchase price optimization, commercial negotiations and supply chain efficiency.

    New Product Launch & Go-to-Market

    • Lead new product launch plans in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Trade Marketing, Logistics, Customer Service and After-Sales teams.
    • Ensure all required legal documents, technical materials, sales tools, training content, images, videos, supply plans and commercial policies are completed prior to launch.
    • Monitor launch progress and proactively resolve issues to ensure products are introduced to market on schedule.

    Team & Process Management

    • Set team objectives, allocate responsibilities and evaluate individual and team performance.
    • Standardize product development, supplier management and sourcing processes to improve operational efficiency.
    • Coach and develop the team’s professional and functional capabilities.

    Reporting & Strategic Advisory

    • Provide regular weekly and monthly reports on product development, sourcing activities, supplier performance, product costs and new product launches.
    • Advise senior management on initiatives to strengthen competitiveness, optimize the supply chain and expand the product portfolio.

    Requirements

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree or above in Economics, International Trade, Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing or a related field.
    • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Product Development or Category Management is preferred.

    Experience

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in international procurement, product development, category management or a related role.
    • At least 2 years in a managerial position with direct responsibility for product development strategy, portfolio management and team leadership.
    • Proven experience working with international suppliers, particularly in China, South Korea or other international markets, including commercial contract and price negotiations.
    • Extensive experience in Mother & Baby, Consumer Electronics/Home Appliances, FMCG or distribution businesses is highly preferred.
