Job Responsibilities
Supply Chain Planning, Demand Forecasting, and Logistics Management
- Develop and execute the company's end-to-end supply chain strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Design and optimize operating models across manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, and retail channels to support sustainable business growth.
- Lead short, medium, and long-term supply planning to ensure timely product availability and business continuity.
- Establish governance and operational standards for warehouse management, inventory control, packaging, storage, and transportation, particularly for high-value products.
- Drive initiatives to improve logistics efficiency by reducing lead times, increasing delivery speed, and optimizing overall transportation costs.
Procurement and Supplier Management
- Develop and oversee the supplier management framework, including supplier selection, evaluation, performance monitoring, and capability development.
- Lead commercial negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favorable contractual terms.
- Oversee the procurement of raw materials, semi-finished products, finished goods, and the management of product returns and reverse logistics.
- Collaborate with suppliers to establish quality standards and inspection procedures covering raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, and packaging materials.
Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Regulatory Compliance
- Build and standardize quality management systems across the entire supply chain.
- Develop and implement quality inspection processes, including Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Outgoing Quality Control (OQC).
- Ensure full compliance with applicable regulations on product labeling, pricing, quality standards, and other legal requirements.
- Lead investigations and corrective actions related to product quality issues while minimizing operational and reputational risks.
Budget, People, and Organizational Development
- Develop and manage the annual departmental budget while driving cost optimization initiatives.
- Design the organizational structure, define roles and responsibilities, and establish workforce planning for the Supply Chain function.
- Implement performance management systems and drive accountability through measurable KPIs.
- Lead talent acquisition, coaching, capability development, succession planning, and leadership development for the team.
- Foster a high-performance culture by promoting the company's core values, strengthening collaboration, and effectively managing conflicts.
Requirements
Knowledge
- Strong expertise in end-to-end supply chain management, including Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), omnichannel logistics, and large-scale distribution networks.
- In-depth understanding of warehouse operations, security management, and logistics for high-value products, particularly within the jewelry and precious metals industry.
- Solid knowledge of customs regulations, import and export procedures, international trade regulations, and transportation compliance.
- Good understanding of modern supply chain technologies, digital platforms, and integrated planning systems.
