Supply Chain Operations Manager

    As a Supply Chain Operations Manager, you will be in charge of managing various aspects of the business supply chain and ensuring that all activities are effectively coordinated. 

    Job Description

    • Coordinate production and shipment scheduling with the Factory Manager, ensure all products are produced and shipped on time, and that any problems or delays are addressed as soon as possible. 
    • Be in charge of export logistics, ensuring that products are delivered on time and in full (OTIF).
    • Manage incoming stock, storage coordination, and production scheduling based on incoming quality. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any claims resulting from incoming QA inspections and reporting inventory aging to management. 
    • Work with the central MATS on new process innovations to improve efficiency and reduce costs (identify opportunities, test new processes, and make any necessary changes)
    • Drive cost-cutting initiatives throughout the supply chain. This includes identifying cost-cutting opportunities, developing plans to implement changes, and tracking progress against goals.
    • Carry out Capex planning and execution, including capacity expansion, (identify expansion opportunities, develop execution plans, and supervise change implementation).
    • Manage vendors, including non-commodity purchases and capex expansion to ensure that all products and services are delivered on time and at the expected quality.
    • Assist the R&D team with new product development trials, ingredient costing, and commercialization. This includes assisting and guiding the R&D team, ensuring that all trials are completed in a timely and efficient manner, and assisting in the introduction of new products to the market.
    • Put forward digital initiatives throughout the supply chain. 
    • Make sure that the branch passes GFSI and customer audits. This includes ensuring that all processes and procedures adhere to applicable regulations and that all required documentation is in place.

    Requirements

    • A master's degree in business, supply chain management, or a closely related field is required.
    • At least 5 years of experience in operations and supply chain management, preferably in the food industry.
    • Prior experience managing multiple teams.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Data analysis and strategic decision-making skills.
