Talent Acquisition Executive - SEA (Education)

    Main duties

    Talent Acquisition Service Line Responsibilities

    • Work with international clients to comprehend the manpower needs of the SEA market and provide prompt service, which includes sourcing, screening, presenting shortlists, and taking part final interview with clients
    • Manage client communications and provide advice on:
      • Talent acquisition process and strategy, including methods for advertising and searching,
      • Talent pool available in the required industry,
      • Framing of job descriptions
      • Compensation benchmarking
    • Find potential employees through all channels such as LinkedIn, Vietnam Works, Jobstreet, references, social media, etc
    • Do screening and shortlisting potential profiles and schedule interviews 
    • Salary negotiations with the candidate and follow-up until the position is filled
    • Be familiar with modern hiring practices and tools
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data in the Master employee database
    • Ensure TAT is accurate for the number of slots
    • Work closely with the HR team to select the best candidates for the onboarding process
    • Enabling a wonderful applicant experience through stakeholder participation, management reference checks, and other measures.

    Talent Acquisition Departmental Responsibilities

    • Employer branding entails leading, developing, and carrying out company outreach to the skilled workforce in SEA in order to position the brand as an employer of choice.
    • Manpower planning and executive search: Assist service line and department managers in comprehending the short- and long-term needs for manpower, aiding in their strategic consideration and selection of suitable candidates. This covers every stage of the hiring process, from creating job descriptions to finding candidates, screening, conducting interviews, extending offers, facilitating reference checks, and creating a wonderful applicant experience.

    Requirements

    • University degree
    • 5+ years of recruiting experience; 2+ years of experience must be in head hunting or in Executive Search firms with P&L responsibility
    • Knowledge of end-to-end recruitment life cycle and process
    • Demonstrated skill in managing business activities in a multinational company.
    • Strong project management skills
    • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
    • Ability to take the initiative and think critically
    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high quality results
    • Demonstrated experience working independently on critical positions
    • Experience in hiring across diverse functions and sectors
    • Must have people leadership experience with a proven ability to coach, develop and groom talent
    • Strong experience in setting up and working with Applicant Tracking Systems.
    • Experience in recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, employer branding, conduction of recruitment drives & networking events etc.
    • International exposure in terms of experience working with foreign clients, especially in a direct client facing role
    • Experience in talent acquisition within the higher education sector or other consulting sectors
    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as a team leader and member
    • Knowledge of, and interest in enhancing knowledge of key trends in hiring and hiring best practices
    • Should have good planning, time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
    • Should have the ability to meet multiple deadlines and challenging priorities within restricted timeframes
    • Eye for detail, astuteness with data and the ability to effectively build collateral for proposals and present to clients
