Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition & HRBP Manager plays a dual role in leading both strategic recruitment and HR business partnering across store and head office organizations in Korea. This position is responsible for shaping the talent acquisition strategy, ensuring business alignment through effective workforce planning, and acting as a key partner to business leaders on people matters. The role combines handson execution with strategic influence, driving the company’s growth through the right people and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition Strategy
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for store, corporate, and leadership roles.
- Partner with business leaders to understand manpower needs and define hiring priorities.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies that attract high-caliber talent aligned with brand culture and business goals.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and expansion roles.
- Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, job platforms, and universities.
- Strengthen employer branding through social media, campaigns, and partnership initiatives.
HR Business Partnering
- Act as a trusted HR partner to store leaders and Operation function, providing insights on people strategy, organization design, and workforce planning.
- Advise and support managers on performance management, employee engagement, and succession planning.
- Lead employee relations efforts, ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance with local labor standards.
- Partner with the Regional HRBP team to ensure alignment with APAC people strategy and corporate values.
Performance & Development
- Coordinate quarterly and annual performance reviews in partnership with business leaders.
- Support capability development initiatives, including leadership coaching and training programs.
- Facilitate career pathing and talent review discussions to identify high-potential employees.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Design and execute engagement programs that promote the company’s culture and values across all levels.
- Partner with communication and operations teams to enhance the employee experience in stores.
- Support change management initiatives related to expansion, organizational restructuring, or policy rollout.
HR Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor key HR metrics (turnover, time-to-hire, employee engagement) and provide actionable insights to management.
- Prepare regular recruitment and workforce reports for HQ and regional teams.
- Use data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement in hiring and retention strategies.
Requirements:
- 8–10 years of HR experience with solid expertise in Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partnering.
- Proven success in managing large-scale recruitment or rapid business expansion in retail or F&B sectors.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, performance systems, and organizational dynamics.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of Korean labor law and employment practices.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HR data and metrics to drive decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Fluent in English for HQ and regional coordination.
