Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Group's tax strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term growth.
- Lead tax planning, tax risk management, and compliance with Vietnamese tax regulations and relevant international tax requirements.
- Establish and maintain the Group's tax governance framework, policies, and internal controls across all subsidiaries.
- Oversee tax structuring, including transfer pricing, intercompany transactions, financing structures, foreign tax matters, and M&A activities.
- Identify tax risks and provide strategic recommendations to optimize tax efficiency while ensuring compliance.
- Manage relationships with tax authorities, external advisors, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings by coordinating tax compliance activities across the Group.
- Lead tax audits, inspections, and dispute resolution, safeguarding the Group's tax position.
- Provide strategic tax advice to senior leadership to support key business decisions and corporate initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CTA, or equivalent is preferred.
- 8–10+ years of tax experience, including leadership responsibilities within large organizations.
- Strong expertise in Vietnamese tax regulations, tax governance, and corporate tax planning.
- Experience with multinational corporations or large enterprises; Big 4 background is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or equivalent).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in Vietnamese and English, both written and spoken.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
