Tech Engineering Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead, inspire, and develop the Vietnam engineering team, fostering a high-performance culture centered on collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
    • Serve as the primary liaison between the Vietnam team and Singapore headquarters, ensuring seamless communication, alignment, and execution across regions.
    • Oversee the successful delivery of software and data engineering projects, ensuring quality, scalability, and timely execution.
    • Partner with Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and cross-functional stakeholders to define product roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and deliver impactful business solutions.
    • Coach and mentor engineers through regular performance reviews, career development planning, and ongoing feedback.
    • Identify delivery risks and operational bottlenecks, proactively implementing solutions to improve team efficiency and productivity.
    • Drive talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies to build and grow a high-caliber engineering organization.
    • Champion engineering best practices, technical excellence, and a collaborative culture aligned with organizational values.
    • Facilitate effective knowledge sharing and collaboration between the Vietnam and Singapore engineering teams.
    • Stay informed of emerging technologies, industry trends, and engineering practices, recommending innovations that enhance product development and team capabilities.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years leading or managing engineering teams.
    • Demonstrated success in building, mentoring, and scaling engineering teams, ideally within distributed or multinational environments.
    • Strong technical foundation in software development; hands-on coding experience is highly regarded.
    • Solid understanding of Agile development frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban, and modern software delivery practices.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
    • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across geographically distributed teams and different time zones.
    • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
