Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead (Java) with a strong focus on hands-on Java programming to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in developing scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend services. You will be responsible for server-side web application logic and integrating the front-end components.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop functional web applications by writing clean code
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Conduct UI tests to enhance performance
- Utilize cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Address technical and design requirements
- Provide training and support to internal teams
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Work with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features
- Stay updated with emerging technologies
Qualifications
This non-managerial role requires:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Over 10 years of professional software development experience
- At least 5 years as a Senior Java Developer
- Experience in full-stack engineering is a plus
- Mandatory experience in the banking domain
- Comprehensive understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
- Hands-on experience with Java, SpringBoot, Microservices
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Backend as a Service (BaaS)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
- Understanding of AI and machine learning
