Technical Product Expert (Power)

    Job Responsibility 

    • Act as the technical product expert and focal point for the particular product line in your region or nation.
    • Provide the sales force and channel with proactive facilitation and/or product-based training.
    • Work together with the sales team to promote the product line through presentations, demonstrations, proof-of-concept tests, performance evaluations, and/or similar activities to current and potential customers.
    • Produce and deliver proposals.
    • Identify and describe how your product differs from the competition in terms of its values.
    • Examine the product lines of rival companies, be aware of their strategies, and further define their competitive differentiators.
    • Participate in trade shows, seminars, and/or other marketing events, providing product expertise and demonstrations to customers as needed.
    • Support market access (Distributor & Systems Integrators) as necessary to ensure their ability to articulate the benefits of and demonstrate RA products and technologies.
    • Assist the Business Lead in introducing new products to the sales force and channel.
    • Verify and address product compatibility issues within architectural solutions and give customers and sales force direction.
    • Actively look for and take part in formal and informal training opportunities to keep your technical skills up to date.
    • As a resource for the named account team, inform customers about new products and technologies as they pertain to their industry and application demands.
    • Provide the appropriate business unit comments on product gaps and development.
    • Recognize organizational structures, marketing tactics, and business models, and use them appropriately
    • Understanding of industry strategies and experience in outcome-based selling.
    • Has a thorough understanding of the customer's business drivers and KPIs.
    • Maintain current sales and customer relationship management data in tools (such as SFA), optimizing activities by doing so

    Requirements

    • A bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or Mechatronics engineering, or a closely related discipline;
    • At least three years of relevant experience;
    • Prior expertise with power systems, such as VSD Drives, E300s, Soft Starters, Intelligent Motor Control, Motor Protection Relays, etc.;
    • Superb communication abilities
