Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Industrial Design (ID) and Mechanical Engineering (ME) partners to convert desired product experiences to appropriate specifications & dimensional requirements.
- Provide guidance on dimensioning schemes, datum selections, measurements, and GD&T application in accordance with ASME standards as well as needs of downstream assembly & system.
- Lead TA/VSA and then collaborate with partner teams on appropriate countermeasures to address identified risks & challenges.
- Coordinate Development Validations & Verifications (DEV V&Vs) planning activity and then drive supplier partners on the readiness of measurement system to support DEV V&Vs and sustaining, this includes but is not limited to guiding checking or holding fixture design, document measurement operation procedures, problem-solving on metrology issues and measurement system qualification through correlation, gauge repeatability & reproducibility (or attribute repeatability & reproducibility for qualitative results), travel may be required.
- Led the creation of the EV health dashboard and collaborated with internal & external partners for problem-solving to get issues resolved to enable product ramp-up on time & cost target.
- Work with manufacturing engineering teams and/or manufacturing vendors during the development of dimensional controls to ensure the quality tradeoff between functionality and manufacturability.
- Provide guidance to other ME or ODM partners DEV team in the dimensional analysis requirements and processes. Participate in concurrent design development activities to ensure that the Dimensional Management objectives are maintained during collaborative design reviews.

- The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/experience:
Basic Qualification:
- Five or more years of related experience in Dimensional Management is required OR Eight years’ experience in multi-component assembly design and/or manufacture with at least 2 years of Dimensional Management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- High-volume manufacturing experience required with a demonstrable understanding of CNC Machining, Plastic moulding, Stamping, Assembly, Or similar manufacturing processes.
- Experienced in Precision Metrology, Statistical Process Control, Quality Tools, and Data Analysis
- Program management skills to lead projects independently.
- GD&T knowledge and willingness to learn.
- English level: English communication skills.
Desired Skills:
- Hands-on experience in measurement system development and operations
- Advanced ability to apply statistical techniques in practical solutions, including measurement system analysis, process capabilities study/analysis, tolerance analysis, and Monte Carlo Analysis.
- Able to lead quality inspection techniques, manufacturing fabrication, process, and capabilities for product development.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
- Self-directed, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of CAD systems (Creo or similar).
