Key Responsibilities
- Source and assess investment opportunities by conducting market research, leveraging industry networks, and proactively identifying high-potential companies.
- Perform comprehensive commercial and financial due diligence, including industry research, competitive benchmarking, business model assessment, and investment risk analysis.
- Partner with portfolio companies by contributing to board discussions, providing strategic guidance, and supporting operational and value creation initiatives.
- Lead or support cross-functional projects related to financial analysis, growth strategy, performance improvement, and portfolio optimization.
- Work closely with investment, legal, finance, and operations teams throughout the investment lifecycle, from transaction execution to post-investment portfolio management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with founders, investors, ecosystem partners, and other key stakeholders across Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master's degree (MBA or equivalent), particularly with a focus on Business or Technology, is an advantage.
- At least 5 years of experience within a venture-backed technology company, or 6+ years in management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, or private equity.
- Strong understanding of the venture capital ecosystem, startup landscape, and technology sectors, with prior exposure to high-growth businesses preferred.
- Well-established professional network within Vietnam's startup ecosystem and major entrepreneurial hubs across Southeast Asia.
- Demonstrated analytical capability with strong commercial judgment and investment acumen.
- Highly organized with excellent project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
- Collaborative, proactive, and able to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
